the price and convenient location to main roads
the toilet ran on. The shower dripped. The light over the sink needed new lenses. The floor was soft. The sheet had a burn hole in it. I would recommend the hotel only if someone wants a cheap place to stay.
The hotel staff was very nice and although due to road construction it fit our needs.
Some of the items at breakfast did not seem to be very fresh
cheap(for a reason..... see below)
The motel was old and badly in need of refurbishing... the room A/C was not on.... the room stunk. The sheets, pillow cases, pillows stunk like the room had sat vacant for weeks with no A/C on. The mustiness smell was bad. I would never stay there asgain.
I liked the price and the location
The shower curtain in room 206 was dirty and because of that I would not use the shower. Room 136 on my second stay was very satisfactory and clean (including the shower curtain).
easy on and off of 64/77, close to a variety of restaraunts.
Our stay in room 235 on 9/9-9/10 was fine except there was quite a bit of mold/mildew in the bathroom and exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. Room smelled very musty when we walked in. When I tried to help the lady in 236 on 9/9-9/10 get onto the internet, we kept getting an error message that Wi-Fi was not available. When I asked the custodian about it he told me it was working. Neither one of us could access the internet. My stay on 9/6-9/7 in room 234 was fine.
The staff was friendly and helpful.Clean room.
I stay here whenever I travel to Charleston, WV
The room were dirty! Bugs and spiders. It was obvious the rooms were not throughly cleaned prior to our arrival.
i have been traveling for 42 years and this is one of the 2 worst rooms i ever stayed in. the smell was so bad that it remained in my clothes most of the day. it was very late when i checked in or i would have looked for another room some place else
Price. Although it was really too high for what we received.
Sheets on the hide-a-bed (which were advertised as a feature) were covered with hair. When I went to the front desk to request fresh ones, I was told that the hide-a-bed wasn't intended to be slept on. ?? I had to argue to get clean sheets. When the sheets finally arrived, the employee who brought them to me reeked of beer. Yes, I know I chose a cheap hotel -merely to break up a 15 road trip. I expected sub-par accommodations, I didn't not expect gross and rude.
The bedding was clean. That's about the only positive thing I can say.
The furnishings were very out dated. The grout in the bathroom was nasty and stained. The corners of the room looked like they hadn't been swept out in months. The carpet was worn and stained.
My room was absolutely disgusting. I didn't expect the best but I would have liked the room to be clean. There was a bloody rag under the side of my bed, old fries in the floor, and the floor looked very unvacummed. Also, my air conditioner didn't work correctly and it was very hot.
Location was perfect and easy to find. The necessities were all in working order - AC/heat/electric/hot water. Food/fuel/auto repair all within walking distance.
Security seemed to be lax, and all customer service relations lacked professionalism and courtesy. I would not likely stay there again unless desperate.
I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. I chose it because of the price but had stayed in other similar priced hotels and had a great experience. The floor was very dirty and looked like it had not been vacummed in quite a while. The phone had grime on it. The clock radio buzzed off and on all night. The clerk was eating while checking me in and I had to return to the desk as the card keys were not working.
Right off the highway, pretty convenient location. Good wi-fi internet connection.
Not clean, roaches in room. Breakfast is terrible, better remove this option and lower the price further.
Despite the grimy feeling of the while room, I must admit that the bed and room temperature were both comfortable, and the hotel was right off the interstate.
They class to have a breakfast, but it was really just sugary doughnuts and coffee--nothing else. I was scared to touch anything in the room... Germs.
